I’m getting around to some of the new(ish) negatives I shot for my Loop Derivatives series. They’re not meant to be single images but considering the usually dull color palette of downtown Chicago I’m excited about working with this and a few others that I got during a rainy day, of all times to find color.

Just because I was best man in my best buddy’s wedding the other week didn’t mean I would take no pictures. I just didn’t take very many. I brought my M6 and 2 rolls of Portra 800 because it was supposed to be darker than it was, but whatever. Not very good form to be standing up on the altar paying more attention to the ceremony through your Leica than with your own two eyes so I saved it for before and after.
